Real-Time Transcription

If the transcription seems stuck, toggle the Start/Stop Ears button or check your internet connection.
AI Answers (Auto vs. Manual)
Two modes to match your workflow:
- Auto Mode: The AI constantly analyzes the transcript. If it detects a complete question, it generates an answer automatically. Best for fast-paced interviews.
- Manual Mode: You decide when to ask. Type a question or wait for the transcript to fill, then click Ask AI. Best for controlling the flow.
Screen Solve (Visual Intelligence)
Use this for coding challenges, diagrams, or questions displayed on screen.
Click Solve
Click the Solve button in the footer.
Screen capture
The app instantly captures your screen (invisible to others).
Get solution
The AI analyzes the image and provides a solution or explanation.
Notes Tab
A dedicated space for your cheat sheets, prepared answers, or meeting notes.
- Tabs: Create multiple sub-tabs (e.g., Behavioral, Technical, Questions to Ask)
- Persistence: Notes are saved automatically
Audio Configuration
Getting audio right is the most important part of using ThinkSnap AI.
Both Mode

System Mode
Captures ONLY System Audio. Best for lectures, webinars, or when you want to remain silent.
Mic Mode
Captures ONLY Your Mic. Best for dictation or voice notes.
Audio Troubleshooting
- No Mics Found: Ensure your microphone is plugged in. Check Windows Privacy settings. Click the No Mics - Retry? button.

A set of hidden instructions that tells the AI who it is and how to behave. You can customize this in the Settings tab to match your exact scenario.
“You are an expert Senior Software Engineer. Provide concise, accurate answers. When asked to write code, provide only the code and a brief explanation. Do not be chatty. Focus on modern best practices.”
“You are an Agile Coach and Senior Project Manager. Give structured answers using STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) where applicable. Focus on leadership, conflict resolution, and delivery.”

Tips for Success
Pro tips to get the most out of ThinksnapAI and perform at your best.
Test Beforehand
Always run a test session 10 minutes before your actual meeting. Check your mic levels and API keys.
Use Headphones
Prevents audio bleed and improves transcription accuracy.
Positioning
Place the window near your webcam (top center) so it looks like you are looking at the camera while reading answers.
Don't Rely 100%
Use the AI as a co-pilot, not an auto-pilot. Read the answer, understand it, and then speak it in your own words.
